    Natural view point from where you will watch the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Aconcagua, the highest of America.

TRANSPORTATION SUV, pick-up truck, Van or car.
METEOROLOGICAL CONDITION Mediterranean weather, rains from May to August, around 500 mm.

Granizo, Olmué.

Hiking from the main entrance to the top, or the mine, by the El Alpinista trail, what it takes about 5 hours. Birds and reptiles watching, eventually foxes and rodents. The summit is a natural view point from where you can watch the ocean and the Mount Aconcagua, the higher one of America. The last third is steep, rocky and expose to sun, and you will need hiking poles and even some crawls. About 3 hours way back.
Hiking shoes, backpack, long sleeve shirt, light fleece or sweater, sun screen, jockey or hat, sunglasses and camera. Pants (No shorts, for your own protection) and spare T-shirt. Fall-winter: waterproof/warm jacket, beanie and gloves.

The SUV departs from Viña del Mar, 4 norte /Av. Libertad at 7:00 am.
Pick up (and drop off) is available from any hotel in Valparaíso, Viña del Mar Reñaca or Concón, between 6:15 - 7:00 am.

A stop, if everybody agrees, is made at about 6 pm for a beer, juice or lunch (not included). After that we go back to the hotel or meeting point. Way back there can be traffic delays, mainly in summer, so please note this.
